Dis post, i dont wanna write much. Overall, I had a great long weekend. 2 nights in London, 2 nights in Bristol plus went to Bath too. It was great. Let the picture do the talking..

This week is freedom right week. Really interesting here as we have different themes each and every week. Like the previous week, it was environmental focus week. We had environmental plays, talks, and even a climate conference last week. In this week, its all about freedom right. All over the castle, they put up manila cards written about the right to do this, do that, and a lot more. The most attractive event was the head shaving for freedom! Haha. The students here volunteer themselves to shave their head to collect donations. Guess what, its not only the boys who shave their heads, girls too!! Yup. Sgt klaka tgk dyrg botak. Sumpah x tipu. But its okay. They still manage to collect over 1000 pounds. I knoe. Thats a lot of money.
Also in the college now, our castle has been a place for a movie site. Cool isn’t it? The movie title is “ironclad”. But the shit thing is that were not allowed to use the main entrance to the castle as the site is there. It is really annoying to walk a long way to go to the castle. Fuhh.. Back to the movie.. Guys. Just imagine those orang2 ganas dlm movie perang2 dulu, pakai ganas2, but then eat the food like us and also resting on the grass maybe becoz they are tired or wtv. Haha. Hilang macho dow.. Hehe.
Me? Im okay. Following all the classes. Ohh ya. I’ve changed my subjects this week. In IB, we have to take 6 subjects. 2 languages, 1 maths, 1 science, 1 world, and 1 more from any other groups. So my subjects are English A1, French ab initio, Maths, Chem, Econs, and Physics. I also took further maths just to learn more maths. Hehe. This week I have change my language subjects as I reckon it is gonna be quite hard for me to score high grades in English A1 – which is full literature, no more ordinary essays or reports or things like that. So I decided to take Malay (self taught – learn in english how to do literature in my first year and do it in BM during 2nd year) as my 1st language and English A2 as my second language. Im quite “down” la jugak with my change as I cannot join the further maths class anymore (clash dgn class english), I also have to leave my French class (baru nk blaja btol2 slps kegagalan di SDAR hehe) n also bcoz the self taught punye class bosan nk mati!! Grr.. Xpe3. Talked to my dad about this. He said that it is easier now to score. So don’t take things for granted and do my best as my target is to score high marks for IB. InsyaAllah. Huhu. Actually, I cant stop thinking about long weekend next week right now! Haha. Going to London 2 nights to Ima’s house (member Ajim) and Bristol another 2 nights to YJ’s house. Cepat33.... Hehe.

p/s: this is one of my assignments. i did this with the intention of 'janji siap'.. haha. and it took me only 5 mins. so it was suppose to be just a crap. it is still for me.. ^_^ but just now, Ruth, my English teacher had put this poem in the highly commended section. hmm..
A month abroad
ajim, ammad, fahmy, aku Salam
Its October 3rd! One month and 2 days after my arrival here.. Which is 5 weeks to be exact, 2 weeks of induction – at that time, i really felt that the induction is too long til i cant wait to go to classes – and another 3 weeks of codes or classes. Wow. It felt really fast. Seriously. Yeah. When we are busy doing something, everything seems to be quick. Huhu. How’s everything? Ermm.. Its great! Best33.. Daily classes here is only 4-5 hours maximum a day. Layan dow. Haha. Tp still penat. Coz there are a lot more things to do here like service and also activities. But it is really interesting. Like in my service, Extra Mural Centre (EMC), we are going to be like a facilitator to kids who will come to our centre and do a lot of exciting stuffs like rock climbing, canoeing, archery, mountain boarding, initiative games and a lot more. Well, of course the level of it is not so extreme as it is for kids. So, in our 1st year we are going to be trained to do all those stuffs and we will start to meet the kids in our 2nd years. Hehe. Cant wait. Cheh.. xleh blah. Haha.
Now i really have a lot of free times. Less work, not so involved in activities. So, i really need to be very discipline in managing my time with quality. Or else, Ill be playing foosball 24/7.. Haha. (Yup! Ada foosball dlm dayroom kat house kitorg. So tuh mmg keje aku dikala waktu lapang la.) Im still adapting myself to this place. But everything is going smoothly. :) I prefer to just chill and maintain my studies in a good momentum first, then Im looking forward to involve more in the activities here. Wtv it is, my main target is still my IB results. 40!! InysaAllah.. Till then.

I hate the weather here! Owhhhh... Shit man. Its so gloomy. Can’t even see the sun today. Gloomy and the rain just sesuka hati je if they wanna fall or not. No warning at all. Today is my 2nd day and the induction week starts and its gonna be the induction for 2 weeks. Tiring man! Woke up at about 6.15. Quickly perform my Subuh. Then I just relax, writing posts, took my shower and bla3 as the breakfast starts at 8.45 in the dayroom. Im not fasting today as they said there is a swimming test today and I really need extra energy. I also managed to call Mumy and Dady. Report to them hows evrything is here. Haha. Today, we met our tutor during breakfast. After that, we gather in the Arts centre to meet Neil, our principal and he introduces us to the other 4 important staffs and also the peer listeners. Then, took our pictures – like the seniors said its gonna be used for the whole 2 years in AC, huhu. Met with our own Peer listeners – Diego and Thea – in the Powys dayroom. Had our Maths test just to make sure whether we are capable to take Higher Maths or not. Then, a trip to the library. It was so cool! Really sytematic. Every book records is there in the computer. We can just search it in the comp to see what kinda book that we want and whether it is borrowed by anyone else or not. We also dont need any library cards as it is all in the computer system. Well. Loads more great stuffs here.. It is suppose to be that way. And ohh ya! About my swimming test. 2 words. Hate it! Haha.. Well, I cant swim. That’s why. I just managed to do 2 laps. Emm.. I think that’s a lot for me. Huhu. But then we need 5. I’m didnt pass obviously. So I had to take swimming lessons after this. Nvm. It gonna be cool. Coz getting swimming lessons for free. N yeah! I can swim after this!! Yay. So optimist! Lol.. Btw, Ajim cant swim too.... Hahaha. Dat nite we got south east asian meeting. So we met people from the Phillipines, China, Vietnam, Thailand and yeah of course Malaysia. Haha. And not so surprising, we are the majority since we got 8 from the 1st years and another 8 from the 2nd years. Hehe.. We did conquer it. I think that’s it for this time. Cant wait to explore more. Till then, wasalam.
p/sp/s: ermm.. actually this post was also written a long time ago. Haha. And the raining days are actually over. The weather after i wrote this posts is superb! Haha. Likey2. Not too hot, not too cold. Freezing windy but then the sun shines brightly. So, im kinda getting use to it. Just dunno wuts gonna happen in winter then.. huhu

Powys is actually the name of our house. There is 48 of us this year, 24 1st years and 24 2nd years. Very balance aite? Haha. Well, there is 12 dorms overall. 6 downstairs for the guys and another 6 upstairs for the girls. 1 dorm consists of 4 people. So mine is Jawwad from Jordan – he is a Christian actually - , Qin from the Phillipines, me from Malaysia, and Misha from United States of America. Once I arrived in the room, Qin asked me to settle down first. Change clothes. Solat. I didnt manage to unpack my things coz we have to go to the dayroom – a room where eveyone in the house get together and interact with each other. Met some other guys. And ohh ya! I got a Malaysian senior in my house which is Azhar but like other Malaysians his year and Azim Syahiran called him Nobi. He is really helpful till now. Then, we went to the dining hall located in the castle. It was sure beauty! Not exactly like Harry Potter though but u can say that laa. Haha. I didnt eat as I’m still fasting and Maghrib is about 7.50 if I’m not mistaken. But I managed to meet with people n talk to them. Qin and Azhar really help me that time. Then, back to Powys. We played a couple of games just to break the ice. It was cool. Even Diego – our peer listeners and a 2nd year – said that those games were a tradition and they do it every year. Firstly we played sort of like in STE but a lil bit different. We have to say our names and what do we like which is suppose to be the same initial as our names. Well, let me try to recall all of it...

Langgar sudah! Tapi HALAL mesti la tgk. :) After Maghrib, I rejoined the games. Overall I would say POWYS is exciting coz all of them has this house spirit and its really cool! That night I slept at about 11.30 and I really had a good night sleep. Its a very very very tiring day!
p/s: it was really frustrating to know that there is no WiFi here. So, the purpose for me to install SKYPE, make sure YM is okay is really grr... Like now I’m writing offline first and I’m gonna copy to my blog once I got into the net. But then, I think its quite easy to get in the net as there are a lot of computers here. And also life’s here is sure is busy! Pergh! Macam gile bapak nyer penat dow. Writing these posts really makes me miss my family n frens n honey.. :)
